Bel Ami exceeded our expectations – highly recommend! Clean - spacious rooms with stylish decor. Perfect location in the historic old town & close to next stop in Vietnam. Friendly staff served breakfast in room. Attentive & professional reception staff with excellent English. No windows - but bright and quiet rooms. Comfy bed - great internet. Close to "food street" with many restaurants.
Couldn't recommend more.

The rooms at Hanoi Bel Ami Hotel were cozy and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities like air conditioning, a seating area, and a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom was clean and equipped with free toiletries and a hairdryer. As a family, we felt right at home in these rooms.
Personally, I didn't enjoy the bidet in the private bathroom, but I understand that others might find it convenient.

The location was excellent, with everything in the historic old town within easy walking distance. The staff at the reception were extremely helpful and polite, and had good English language skills. They provided excellent service and went above and beyond to meet our expectations. they served breakfast to our room, making our mornings more convenient.
There were some issues with cleanliness, such as a smoky smell in one of the rooms and mold in the bathroom of another room. The air conditioning was noisy and the fridge leaked water when the electricity went out.

Complimentary shuttle and laundry service were soooooo exciting! The location was just perfect, couldn't get any better. And breakfast was so continental, I felt like I was in Europe!
Oh, and how could I forget the noise from the lively street at night? It was simply delightful.

The hotel is conveniently located near the old center, close to what the staff called "food street," which was a laneway with a large number of restaurants. It is also in the center of the historic old town. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had a modern and stylish design. The staff provided excellent service, offering helpful recommendations and storing luggage for guests. Breakfast was served in the rooms and included delicious options like fried bacon, eggs, and bread. The hotel also had a stable Wi-Fi connection and a separate shower compartment in the bathroom.
The limited supply of shampoo and shower gel was an inconvenience, requiring guests to purchase their own supplies.

The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially Hannah at the reception. She gave us awesome recommendations for places to eat and party. The location was perfect, with lots of cool restaurants and bars nearby. We had a great time exploring the vibrant nightlife scene and the day trips we booked at the tour desk were epic!
If there's one thing I wish could be better, it's that the hotel could organize some fun events or activities specifically for young party-goers like us. It would have been awesome to have some themed parties or social gatherings where we could meet and mingle with other travelers our age.

The value I got for my money at this hotel was great. The room was bright, spacious, and comfortable, with a really comfy bed and a nice and spacious bathroom. The location was perfect, close to the busy street but still peaceful and quiet. The lady in the reception was very helpful and spoke English very well.
Breakfast choices could have been more varied.
